How We Got Here
On a warm January afternoon, we met for our very first date. What began as a casual plan for a few drinks quickly turned into something much more special. We watched the sun set over the Melbourne skyline, losing track of time as we laughed and chatted the night away. Hours passed, yet neither of us felt ready to say goodbye. In many ways, we never did. That day marked the beginning of our longest date, one that’s still continuing.
Since then, we’ve built a life filled with love, warmth and adventure.
In May 2025, Nathuli arrived at a rooftop bar overlooking Melbourne, one of the many rooftop spots we’ve come to love over the years, expecting a birthday celebration for Rakesha’s boss. Instead, with the city lights sparkling around us, Rakesha got down on one knee and asked. Saying yes to forever felt like the easiest decision in the world.
After years of dreaming about this day, we can't wait to celebrate it with the people who mean the most to us, in the place that feels the most like us.
